Capitol Hill Day

About This Stop
Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA) looks forward to welcoming you to this interactive, transformative experience to our nation’s capital! We are pleased to play host to People of Hope: Faith-Filled Stories of Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
Every other year, CCUSA’s Social Policy team welcomes Catholic Charities agency staff and leadership from around the country to meet with their elected officials in Washington, DC. There, they advocate for the most vulnerable in their communities on a range of pressing issues, including affordable housing, food insecurity, access to behavioral health services, unemployment and more.
With mid-term elections looming, our message of support for policies that uplift the poor and vulnerable is absolutely crucial, making this a critical opportunity for face time and information sharing with policymakers.
More details to come.
