Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral

About This Stop

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh looks forward to welcoming you to this interactive and transformative experience at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral. Holy Name sits on Raleigh’s historic Nazareth property, where the Catholic community’s commitment to serving neighbors in need took early shape with the opening of the Nazareth Orphanage in 1899. Over the years, the property has continued to serve the community in a variety of ways, including as home to Cardinal Gibbons High School, diocesan administrative offices, and now the cathedral. That legacy of compassionate, faith-filled service continues through Catholic Charities today, making this a particularly meaningful setting for the People of Hope Museum.

We are pleased to host People of Hope: Faith-Filled Stories of Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
